Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo has named a 26-man squad to face Austria and Germany in international friendlies later this month.
The squad announcement, made on Monday, March 16, marks the start of Ghana’s pre-World Cup preparations.
Addo has named four debutants in his latest squad with some key players making returns.
In a move to bolster his squad depth, Addo has handed debut call-ups to Derrick Luckassen of Pafos FC, Patrick Pfeiffer of Darmstadt 98, Marvin Senaya of AJ Auxerre and Daniel Agyei of Kocaelispor.
The squad sees the return of Thomas Partey of Villarreal and Iñaki Williams of Athletic Bilbao.
In-form Manchester City winger Antoine Semenyo, who has netted 15 goals across all competitions this season, headlines an attack that also includes Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
Ghana will face Austria in Vienna on Friday, March 27 at the Ernst Happel Stadium, followed by a heavyweight clash against Germany in Stuttgart on Monday, March 30.
