The senior national men’s soccer team, the Black Stars, has been nominated as the National Team of the Year 2025 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
This follows a decent run in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers that saw the team win five matches and draw one in the year under review.

The nomination comes a few days after the Black Queens were also nominated for the Women’s National Team of the Year.
