The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has invited Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo to a meeting on Wednesday, November 27.
The meeting, according to a press statement issued on Thursday, is to discuss Otto Addo’s technical report on the just-ended AFCON qualifiers and the overall performance of the technical team since assuming duty.
The former Dortmund talent coach has come under fire following the failure of the Black Stars to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Ghana placed fourth in a group that saw Angola and Sudan qualify for the continental showpiece.
Niger, who did not qualify alongside Ghana, beat the Black Stars 2-1 in the last qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The first qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium also ended in a 1-0 loss to Angola.
The outcome has seen a lot of fans calling for the dismissal of the coach.
Wednesday’s meeting is expected to fashion out the way forward regarding Otto Addo’s role.
