Reappointed Otto Addo has named a 26-man squad for Black Stars’ friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda next week.

The four-time African champions take on the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations’ losing finalists on Friday, March 22 in Marrakech, Morocco before taking on the Cranes of Uganda on Tuesday, March 26 at the same venue.

Barely 24 hours after his re-appointment, Addo has released his squad for the double friendlies.

The squad is fairly unchanged with Edmund Addo, Tariq Lamptey and Fatawu Issahaku returning to the fold.

Richard Ofori, whose blunder in the final AFCON group game resulted in the Mozambique equalizer, has been dropped.

Athletic Bilbao striker Iñaki Williams is also not in the squad.

There are fresh call-ups for Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare, Bolovia-based David Akologo, Mohammed Diomande and Ibrahim Osman.

Captain Andre Ayew is in the squad, together with brother, Jordan, who wil be joined in attack by AFC Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo.
