The Black Stars have opened camp in Cardiff ahead of their final pre-World Cup friendly against Wales on Tuesday, June 2.

Head Coach Carlos Queiroz has invited 28 players including five goalkeepers for the game.

On Monday, 13 players trained at Dragon Park, marking the beginning of preparations for the encounter.

Others expected to camp include Ernest Nuamah, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Jordan Ayew, Caleb Yirenkyi, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Elisha Owusu, Gideon Mensah, Marvin Senaya, Jerome Opoku, Benjamin Asare, Joseph Anang, Solomon Agbasi, and Alidu Seidu.

The Black Stars will be in Cardiff for a week before traveling to the United States to begin camping for the FIFA World Cup.

According to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Coach Carlos Queiroz will use the period to assess his players before naming his final squad.

Ghana will begin their campaign on Wednesday, June 17 against Panama before later taking on England and Croatia.
