The Ghana Police Service has deployed its men to various voting centres in the Kumawu constituency to man today’s by-election. 

The service has hundreds of personnel ready to supervise a peaceful bye-election in the constituency following the death of Philip Attah Basoah, their former MP who passed away last month.

The police service has among other service vehicles and apparatus including mobile hospitals ready to provide quick emergency medical services to personnel and citizens.

At the time of visit by the news team to the area, electoral officers and materials have also been deployed to various voting centres.
