Gabonese referee Pierre Ghislain Atcho has been appointed as the center official for the second Group B clash between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Pharaohs of Egypt.

That match on Thursday, January 18 will be played at the Félix Houphouët Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.

Both teams, who are share 11 titles between them, are yet to win at the tournament.

Egypt were held to a 2-2 draw by Mozambique on Sunday while Ghana were beaten by Cape Verde same day.

The 32-year-old last handled Ghana’s qualifier for the 34th AFCON against the Central African Republic (CAR).

He will be assisted by compatriot Boris Marlaise Ditsoga (Assistant I), Cameroon’s Carine Atezambong Fomo (Assistant II) and Tanguy Patrice Mebiame from Gabon (Fourth Official).

The match kicks off at 8:00pm.
